Four types of molding machines

At present, the molding machines produced in my country are generally divided into four categories, namely compaction molding machine, vibration molding machine, vibration molding machine, and injection molding machine.

1. The compaction molding machine uses air pressure or hydraulic pressure to apply pressure to the molding sand in the sand box through the pressure head or pattern to compact the molding sand. This type of molding machine is equipped with a micro-vibration shock mechanism, which can adapt to the molding of complex patterns.

2. The shock-compression molding machine compacts the vibrated sand mold again, and can obtain a sand mold with compact upper and lower parts. The commonly used one is the micro-vibration compaction molding machine, which uses the falling workbench to collide with the floating vibration iron, micro-vibrate and compact the molding sand, and then compact it.

3. Vibration type molding machine This type of molding machine can be divided into vibration type and micro-vibration type molding machine. The sand box and the pattern are fixed on the working table of the molding machine. The sand mold is compacted by the collision of the working table with the impact surface of the anvil when it falls and the inertia of the sand particles. This molding machine has serious noise, and the compactness of the upper part of the sand mold is very low. It has been replaced by the micro-vibration compaction molding machine.

4. Shot-pressing molding machine It uses compressed air to evenly inject the molding sand into the sand box for pre-compaction, and then applies pressure for compaction. Commonly used ones are vertical boxless shot-pressing molding machine and horizontal parting boxless shot-pressing molding machine. After the sand mold is made, the box is removed, and the core is convenient to put in, with high productivity.
